Welcome to South by South Pole: Expedition for Climate Action
In this space, I aim to inspire, entertain, inform, and activate readers on the topics of climate action and climate change, told through my learnings and exploration during the International Antarctic Expedition 2017 with Sir Robert Swan. Created as a building block to drive awareness for sustainability, Rob Swan’s 2041 organization, and climate action, South by South Pole will detail all that’s inspired me and all that I’ve learned about leadership, climate action, and how we as individuals can make a difference. We’ll also look at the intersections between technology and climate action, and I’ll ask a few of my SAP colleagues to contribute their knowledge to the space as well.
Take the journey with me. Read, learn, and explore as we peel back the complex layers of one of the greatest issues humanity is faced with today.
In my next post, I’ll provide more background on who I am, why I’m going to Antarctica, and what I hope to see, experience, and accomplish. One thing you’ll learn is I like to keep it fun, so I hope deliver content that’s engaging while proving entertainment along the way.
Comments, questions, and feedback are welcome, encouraged, and appreciated. Have some insight to share? Research you’ve done or found interesting? Or if there’s something you’re curious about, perhaps one of the experts I meet along the way can answer it for you.
Stay tuned for more adventure!
